Plus, you’ll get paid time off and access to health benefits, helping you take care of yourself while you work.  Job Requirements   Drive a company box truck (26 ft) to pick up and deliver materials.  Make sure deliveries are on time and handled with care.  Load and unload items, confirming product quality before loading and unloading.  Provide friendly, professional customer service at every stop.  Represent The Arc Jacksonville in a positive way with customers.  Get delivery paperwork signed and return it to the team.  Help keep the warehouse running smoothly when needed.  Keep the vehicle clean, safe, fueled, and ready to go.  What Makes a Strong Team Member / Agency Requirements  Reliable attendance and on-time arrival, ready to work.   Commitment to safe driving practices and adherence to all traffic laws.   Consistent professional, respectful interactions with coworkers, supervisors, customers, and individuals served.   Ability to maintain a positive attitude and composure.   Willingness to follow directions, policies, and procedures while contributing to a smooth workflow.   Professional representation of The Arc Jacksonville in all customer and community interactions.  Prompt reporting of safety concerns, hazards, or emergencies.  Flexibility to support team needs and assist in different areas when required.      QualificationsFormal Education               High School Diploma or GED Qualifications  Valid Florida driver’s license with a good driving record  Able to pass background check and drug screening  At least 1 year experience driving a box truck (26 ft)  Warehouse or delivery experience preferred  Ability to lift, load, and move materials with pallet jack and forklift (certification available through agency)  Forklift certification a plus  Work Environment & Benefits  Supportive team and positive workplace culture  Steady, predictable work (not a high-pressure warehouse)  Accrue Paid Time Off (PTO)  Health benefits available  Opportunity to grow and learn new skills  Meaningful work that supports others in the community  Additional Details  Primary hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 6:30 am – 2:30 pm  Occasional flexible hours may be needed  Basic vehicle checks (fuel, visual inspection) required  CPR/First Aid training available through employer  SALARY:  $18.00 to $19.00 per hour based on experience     Please note that all employees of The Arc Jacksonville must complete a background screening housed and managed by the Agency for Health Care Administration called the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
