Schedule: Full-Time | Days Vary | Weekends Required
Compensation: $15–$16 per hour | Full Benefits Package

Position Summary

Pyramid Healthcare – Jacksonville is seeking a dependable and compassionate Driver to support individuals receiving behavioral health and substance use treatment services. This role is responsible for providing safe, timely, and professional transportation for clients to and from program locations, appointments, and other designated destinations.

The ideal candidate understands the importance of confidentiality, professionalism, and client safety while contributing to a supportive recovery-focused environment. This position requires flexibility, reliability, and the ability to work varying schedules, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients to and from designated locations while following company policies and safety standards

• Provide a supportive and professional presence during client transportation

• Assist clients with transportation needs while maintaining appropriate boundaries and confidentiality

• Maintain accurate and timely transportation documentation

• Complete vehicle safety checks and report any maintenance or safety concerns

• Respond calmly and effectively to unexpected situations or client needs

• Perform light housekeeping or facility support duties when not driving

• Manage routes, schedules, and responsibilities independently and efficiently

• Lift up to 50 lbs. as needed

• Complete additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record required

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required

• Prior driving, transportation, healthcare, or behavioral health experience preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism at all times

• Sound judgment and ability to handle unexpected situations responsibly

• Reliable, flexible, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to interact respectfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds

• Willingness to complete company-required training and development
