Location: New Northside Location – Main Street, Jacksonville, FL
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

Precision Imaging Centers is continuing to grow across Northeast Florida, and we are excited to build the team for our new Northside location on Main Street in Jacksonville!
We are hiring a Front Desk Guest Ambassador / Tech Assistant to join this new location, supporting both front desk operations and our clinical team.
As patient volume increases and additional staff members are added, responsibilities may evolve based on the needs of the center.
We are looking for friendly, professional, dependable, and service-oriented individuals who are comfortable taking on a variety of responsibilities and are eager to learn. Restaurant, hospitality, customer service, or healthcare experience is strongly preferred.
Position Overview
As a Front Desk Guest Ambassador / Tech Assistant, you will be one of the first people our patients meet when they arrive at Precision Imaging Centers.
Your front desk responsibilities will include welcoming and registering patients, answering questions, assisting with patient flow, and helping create a smooth and positive experience from check-in through departure.
This is also a hands-on cross-training opportunity. Team members must be willing and able to train as Tech Assistants and learn clinical support responsibilities, including patient safety procedures, obtaining vital signs, and potentially starting IVs once appropriately trained and authorized to perform those duties.
Candidates should be comfortable working in both patient-facing administrative and clinical support environments. Flexibility, teamwork, and a willingness to learn are essential to being successful in this position.
Essential Job Functions
- Greet patients and guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service
- Register and check in patients accurately and efficiently
- Answer patient questions and provide information regarding procedures, appointments, and wait times
- Direct patients and guests appropriately throughout the center
- Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, technologists, and other team members
- Educate patients about available Precision Imaging Centers services
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and waiting area
- Stock refreshments and patient amenities
- Encourage satisfied patients to share feedback about their experience
- Assist with patient flow and clinical support needs
- Cross-train as a Tech Assistant
- Complete training related to patient and workplace safety
- Learn to obtain and document vital signs
- Be willing to train on starting IVs if required for the role
- Assist imaging technologists with appropriate patient care and clinical support duties following training
- Help maintain an efficient flow of patients throughout the center
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in marketing-related initiatives and community outreach when applicable
- Assist with reports and other front desk operational needs
- Support the clinical team within the scope of Tech Assistant training
- Work collaboratively with your fellow Front Desk Guest Ambassador / Tech Assistant and the entire Northside team
- Remain flexible as responsibilities evolve with patient volume and center staffing
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience
- Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, front desk, healthcare, or another patient-facing role preferred
- Restaurant or hospitality experience is strongly valued
- Previous healthcare experience is helpful but not required for candidates who are willing and able to complete the necessary training
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Friendly, professional, and patient-focused approach
- Ability to clearly explain information to patients
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Comfortable balancing front desk and clinical support responsibilities
- Willingness to complete Tech Assistant cross-training
- Willingness to learn patient safety procedures and vital signs
- Willingness to train on starting IVs if required
- Flexibility to adapt as the new center grows and staffing needs evolve
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
- Ability to occasionally lift items up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to perform the physical responsibilities associated with Tech Assistant duties following appropriate training
