Hourly Rate: $22.00
Full-Time 40 hours/week
Duties and ResponsibilitiesÂ
- The Substitute Instructor performs as an instructor in a regular classroom setting, presenting instructions in designated subject area.Â
- Promotes a positive and desirable atmosphere within the classroom setting to insure maximum student motivation.
- The Substitute Instructor maintains a high degree of discipline within the classroom setting in order to insure maximum learning.
- Maintains student personnel folders; records and forwards daily attendance to the Student Records area.
 Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. College degree, trade certification, or military experience required.Â
- Must be at least 22 years of age per Florida Department of Education substitute teaching requirements.
- Teaching certification preferred.Â
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred.
- Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.
