Job Description:We are seeking a skilled and motivated Landscape Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape architecture, specifically with experience in Florida plant materials and county-specific regulations. This position involves working on landscape plans for national builders, site contractors, and customer builders who require high-level, custom designs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and edit landscape plans for national builders and site contractors.

  • Create lot-specific plans based on builder requirements and modify existing plans as needed.

  • Collaborate with the estimation team to understand basic package requirements.

  • Integrate site plans into AutoCAD software and add design elements.

  • Ensure all designs meet specifications and regulatory requirements

  • Provide advanced design work for custom projects.

  • Stay updated with county-designated plans and legal requirements to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.

  • Landscape Architect License (Florida DBPR)

  • Extensive knowledge of Florida plant materials

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD software and other relevant design tools

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce legally binding, compliant plans.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

  • Creative problem-solving skills

Physical Requirements

  • Sit for extended periods of time while working at a desk and computer

  • Use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and standard office equipment

  • Communicate verbally and in writing with employees, clients, and vendors

  • Occasionally stand, walk, reach, bend, or lift office materials and supplies

  • Lift and/or move items up to 15–25 pounds as needed (such as files, boxes, or office supplies)

  • Maintain focus and attention to detail in a fast-paced office setting
