Requirements Lee Health Heart Institute - Cardiothoracic Surgery team is looking to hire a potentially long-term locum. This position will work collaboratively with our team of cardiothoracic surgeons. We currently have 2 tenured and 1 recent grad cardiothoracic surgeons. Our surgeons currently perform approximately 1500 cases each year. Our practice is the only cardiothoracic surgery team in Lee County and is based at Health Park Medical Center, one of Lee Health?s 4 acute care facilities. The Cardiothoracic Surgery team is supported by a team of Surgical Physician Assistants, Open Heart ? ICU APRN?s and office based APRNs.Any specific requirements Surgery will need of the locum?All aspects of Cardiac, Aortic and Lung surgery with the exception of esophageal.Clarifying - will need both Inpatient and outpatient coverage ?Yes ? Inpatient coverage M-F, Rotating weekendsINPATIENT - M-F 7a-5p, Sat-Sun 7a-5p based on censusCall Coverage Needs: How Often: Every 4th weekend & rotating weeknight call coverage / Onsite or WFH? onsite
