About the Role:

 As a Regional Director of Sales, you are responsible for creating a high performing selling culture through hiring, developing, training and managing Sales Managers. Your expertise in sales skills, training and techniques, coupled with your proficiency in systems and technology, will be instrumental in driving performance, achieving business objectives and providing top-of-the-line customer experience. The Regional Director of Sales is responsible for building a world-class sales management team to achieve profitability goals. 

Responsibilities:

  • Direct, manage and drive performance of all Sales Managers to achieve sales targets and meet all KPIs.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to develop Sales Managers to reach their maximum potential. 
  • Ensure Sales Managers and Product Specialists stay on script for the sales sequence and adopt any updates/changes as they are made.
  • Track, understand and analyze sales metrics and pending business to drive performance and customer satisfaction. 
  • Conduct mandatory performance feedback sessions through formal quarterly performance reviews of Sales Managers, implement action plans to improve performance and take appropriate corrective action through DAPs or PIPs when necessary.
  • Provide ongoing training to current and new hires. 
  • Maintain professional conduct to present a positive company image internally and externally and instill the values, commitment and culture of the company within your team of Sales Managers and ensure they do the same. 
  • Return phone calls and emails same day to provide high standard of service to customers and team members.
  • Plan and conduct weekly meetings for all Sales Managers in your region. 
  • Help Sales Managers with escalated customer service calls with customers and production staff. 
  • Handle all second interviews for Product Specialists after initial interview with Sales Manager.
  • Work with corporate recruiting to ensure sales teams are meeting the number of Product Specialists needed to meet corporate issued budgets. 
  • Hire, train and coach Sales Managers.
  • Support Product Specialist retention in your region through proper hiring practices, ongoing training, management and feedback.
