ECHO East Coast Transportation is a full-service ground transportation company serving corporate travelers, meetings and events, groups, and individual clients throughout Northeast Florida and beyond. Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Reservations Specialist to join our Jacksonville team.

This is a client-facing position responsible for managing transportation reservations from initial inquiry through confirmation while supporting our sales and operations teams. The right candidate will be organized, professional, comfortable managing multiple requests, and highly attentive to details.

This is also an opportunity to learn the transportation business from the ground up. Team members who demonstrate strong performance, initiative, and client relationship skills may have opportunities to advance into account management, inside sales, or outside sales.


  

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in reservations, hospitality,      transportation, travel, customer service, or administrative support      preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to      accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple requests in a fast-paced      environment
  • Professional and comfortable communicating with clients      by phone and email
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and good judgment
  • Comfortable learning new reservation, CRM, and      communication systems
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Dependable, accountable, and able to work effectively      as part of a team

Transportation industry experience is helpful but not required. Candidates with strong hospitality, travel, administrative, or customer-service backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

 Key Responsibilities

  • Manage new reservations, changes, cancellations, and      time-sensitive client requests by phone and email
  • Accurately enter, review, and update reservations in      the company reservation system
  • Gather and verify trip details including dates, times,      passenger information, pickup and drop-off locations, flight information,      vehicle requirements, and special requests
  • Identify missing, conflicting, or potentially incorrect      information and resolve issues before service
  • Provide clients with pricing, availability, trip      confirmations, and service information
  • Maintain accurate client profiles, preferences, account      information, and billing details
  • Monitor upcoming reservations and proactively flag      potential service or scheduling concerns
  • Support sales managers with quotes, proposals, client      follow-up, onboarding, and account coordination
  • Coordinate with dispatch and operations to help ensure      reservations are accurate and ready for successful service execution
