1. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.            

2. Training and Experience: Currently enrolled in an accredited respiratory therapy program. BLS required. ACLS preferred but not required.   

3. Job Knowledge: Delivers appropriate care to patients from neonate through geriatric with regards to age specific considerations. 

4. Safety Sensitive: YES

DESCRIPTION:

A Respiratory Intern is responsible for performing EKGs, helping maintain the MUSE, cleaning and assembling respiratory equipment, and assisting respiratory therapists when needed.  

Physical Effort: Maintains good physical well-being. Job requires walking, bending, pushing heavy equipment and wheelchairs, and occasional lifting of patients.

Mental Effort: Maintains good emotional well-being. Possesses the ability to work under stress.
