What You'll Do

As a Scheduling Coordinator, you'll be responsible for coordinating provider schedules, maintaining appointment accuracy, and supporting the daily operations of our mobile healthcare team.

 

Daily Responsibilities

  • Schedule and maintain provider appointments based on patient care plans, clinician availability, and productivity goals 
  • Coordinate daily patient visits and optimize provider schedules 
  • Enter referrals, patient demographics, employee information, and visit schedules into the EMR 
  • Maintain accurate scheduling records and documentation 
  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately 
  • Communicate scheduling updates with providers and clinical staff 
  • Provide scheduling support for staff absences, vacations, and leaves of absence 
  • Monitor schedule changes and adjust appointments as needed 
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure efficient patient care delivery 
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and company policies 


Qualifications

Required

  • Some college
  • Minimum one (1) year of scheduling, medical office, or healthcare administrative experience 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills 
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer-based scheduling systems 

Preferred

  • Associate degree 
  • Medical office scheduling experience 
  • Experience in home health, primary care, or mobile healthcare 
  • Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
