Job Description:
This job is responsible for supporting project or testing activities in an operation department or Line of Business, researching and documenting organizational reviews, and conducting workflow analysis, data preparation, and triggering. Key responsibilities include pulling testing output and comparing to templates/requirements, opening defects, updating statuses, and analyzing data. Job expectations include resolving complex problems based on business knowledge and defined project guidelines, executing test scripts, and partnering with Development teams to resolve defects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supports the Testing team in gaining an understanding of changes being executed, writing and executing scripts, completing data preparation, and conditioning and triggering events
  • Leads the resolution of defects, providing necessary documentation, and communicating with Development resources and project stakeholders on resolution and retest statuses
  • Coordinates with the business to execute on defined project tasks, including tracking of deliverables and their statuses, measuring progress against ongoing success measures, and escalating roadblocks in a timely manner
  • Analyzes current state processes, operations, procedures, and workflows and discovers pain points to develop approaches for potential solutions, including building a business case for improvement recommendations and driving the execution of implementation
  • Manages and administers key activities to support medium to large projects, such as coordination of change related activities, reporting, and testing
  • Communicates at all levels with business owners, stakeholders, and subject matter experts on all matters related to projects, such as the project plan, risks, issues, scope, assumptions, gap analysis, business requirements, and development of test plans and scripts

LOB Job Description and Responsibilities:

The Onboarding and Documents team is responsible for executing strategic initiatives that support the broader Wealth Management Data Strategy, focused on enhancing how Global Wealth Investment Management (GWIM) acquires, manages, stores, and maintains client information. This team plays a critical role in delivering solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and governance of client data and documentation processes across the organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing day-to-day activities associated with onboarding and documentation initiatives, including project requirements gathering, user acceptance testing (UAT), implementation support, and user readiness activities. This role will support client onboarding, account maintenance, data management, documentation, and terms and conditions-related initiatives for the Merrill and Private Bank lines of business, as well as select front-line organizations that support these processes. The position requires strong partnership across business, operations, and technology teams to ensure the successful delivery of strategic initiatives, process enhancements, and regulatory or risk-driven changes that support an exceptional client and associate experience.

This role is critical to the successful delivery of strategic initiatives, providing leadership and coordination across multiple project workstreams to ensure timely execution of key deliverables and business objectives. The position requires strong partnership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and influence relationships across Business, Operations, Technology, Legal, Compliance, and other key partners. The successful candidate will drive cross-functional alignment, manage dependencies and risks, and support the effective implementation of business, regulatory, and client-focused initiatives.

The duties of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead multiple projects and strategic initiatives concurrently, managing end-to-end delivery including business analysis, requirements development, testing, defect management, implementation validation, risk assessment, and user readiness activities.
  • Partner with Business, Operations, and Technology teams to assess priorities, define solutions, and ensure the successful planning and execution of key initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships, driving collaboration, stakeholder alignment, and accountability to achieve business objectives and expected outcomes.
  • Operate independently in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing competing priorities, meeting deadlines, and delivering high-quality results.
  • Demonstrate strong facilitation, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and partner effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders across the organization.
  • Exhibit sound business judgment, a proactive mindset, and a results-oriented approach to identifying opportunities, mitigating risks, and driving successful outcomes.

LOB Required Qualifications: 

  • 1+ years of experience supporting operational or project-related initiatives, including business analysis, requirements management, business process documentation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and the implementation of technology solutions.
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into functional requirements and drive successful project outcomes.
  • Brokerage or Investment Management Business or Support Experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively facilitate cross-functional meetings across multiple locations and develop and deliver presentations to management and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across organizational levels, navigate competing priorities, and drive alignment on key initiatives.
  • Experience managing and facilitating meetings including virtual and hybrid forums, to support project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and organizational alignment.

LOB Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Onboarding and Maintenance systems supporting Wealth Management and Private Bank products.
  • Understanding of Agile project management methodology.

Minimum Education Requirement:
