Job DetailsJob Location: Illinois College - Jacksonville, IL 62650Position Type: StudentSalary Range: $12.00 - $12.00 HourlyThis internship serves as an intermediate-level introduction to diversity initiatives and pedagogy and their function within the collegiate setting. Through research, instruction, and application, the intern will come to understand how themes of diversity, inclusion, and belonging are woven into the fabric of today’s college campus. The intern will support the Center for Student Engagement, Inclusion, and Belonging (CSEIB) by applying their newfound understanding to the planning and facilitation of student programming.     Key Responsibilities: Support and execute planning and facilitation of student organizational and other educational programming Conduct research on DEI-related initiatives and best practices Assist with daily tasks in the CSEIB, as needed Learning Objectives:  Understand foundational diversity language, terms, and ideas  Strengthen research skills and the ability to relate theory to practice  Enhance communication and facilitation skills Qualifications
