About the Role:

The Supply Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient management and distribution of supplies within the organization. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating the receipt and storage of materials, and ensuring timely delivery to various departments. The Supply Technician supports operational continuity by anticipating supply needs and proactively addressing shortages or discrepancies. This role requires close collaboration with vendors, internal teams, and management to optimize supply chain processes. Ultimately, the Supply Technician contributes to the overall effectiveness and productivity of the organization by managing resources with precision and reliability.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic experience in inventory management or supply chain operations.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software or computerized tracking systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and move supplies as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or certification in supply chain management, logistics, or related field.
  • Experience working in a service-oriented industry or similar operational environment.
  • Proficiency with advanced inventory software and data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse management.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with vendors and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain inventory records using computerized systems to track stock levels and movements.
  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming supplies, ensuring quality and accuracy against purchase orders.
  • Coordinate the distribution of supplies to various departments in a timely and organized manner.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate stock information.
  • Collaborate with vendors and procurement teams to resolve supply issues and facilitate timely replenishment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized storage area to comply with safety and operational standards.
  • Prepare reports on inventory status, usage trends, and supply needs for management review.
