Perform repair and maintenance work on mechanical and electrical equipment. Analyze and recommend solutions for customer equipment problems and breakdowns. Provide assistance to all other service technicians and aid in the apprentice and new technician evaluation process. Communicate with customers in a timely and professional manner and conduct all work with efficiency to contribute to the reputation, growth, and profit of Lift Power Inc. Retain the ability to work on multiple primary duties at any given time. 

Requirements

  • Repair and maintain lift trucks and other equipment 
  • Analyze and diagnose customer equipment problems and breakdowns 
  • Recommend correct service and repair actions to resolve equipment performance problems 
  • Repair or modify equipment to solve performance problems as dictated by equipment analysis 
  • Perform scheduled equipment maintenance per customer contracts 
  • Act as the first responder for all technician questions 
  • Be the first call from technicians needing technical help both during and after business hours 
  • Take occasional after-hours service calls when necessary  
  • Assist in technician new hire training processes 
  • Perform a minimum of two (2) PM audits per month focusing primarily on apprentice and new technicians 
  • Assist management in apprentice and new technician evaluation process 
  • Assist Field Service Supervisor in customer quote process 
  • Maintain good customer relations 
  • Document all “lead tech” time 
  • Communicate with Service Department and Manager 
  • Follow all company policy
