Production Managers are entrusted with overseeing every aspect of dismantling operations and leading teams to achieve goals in a safe and efficient manner. Their primary responsibility is to monitor all production functions, ensuring adherence to company policies. By promoting a culture of safety and environmental compliance, Production Managers uphold the highest standards of operational excellence. They effectively and efficiently operate within the parameters set by administrative policies and procedures, fostering a productive and sustainable work environment.

Position Snapshot:

  • Production Managers ensure the safe operation of all phases of shop operations, prioritizing the well-being of employees and adherence to safety protocols.
  • They supervise the initial vehicle inventory function, meticulously overseeing the quality and accuracy of parts entered into the inventory system.
  • Scheduling the workforce effectively is a key responsibility, ensuring production requirements are met in a timely manner.
  • Participating in the hiring, training, and management of personnel is crucial to building a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Maintaining high housekeeping standards within the facility reflects the commitment to cleanliness and organization.
  • They prioritize the care and maintenance of all company facilities and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Monitoring and evaluating job performance, training, and developing staff, and providing honest and timely feedback contribute to professional growth and excellence.
  • Communication and enforcement of company policies are paramount, and Production Managers lead by example in their implementation.
  • Collaborating with the General Manager, they actively identify opportunities for improvement, seeking innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in automotive repair or parts dismantling within a production environment
  • 3-5 years of management experience, showcasing effective leadership skills
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, including relevant software applications
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with team members and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, displaying effective leadership qualities
