General Description / Primary Purpose:
Job Function:
30% Monthly, quarterly, and yearly reconciliations. These include the review and analysis of furniture and equipment, library collections, and minor projects.
25% Review, key, and approve journal entries, accounting adjustments, and asset registrations in Workday.Â
10% Assist and guide the campus community with questions related to transactions in Workday as well as general capital asset questions.
10% Works closely with the property department to ensure the proper entry and classification of university purchases.
5% Process and analyze monthly depreciation and overhead charges. Fix issues as required.
5% Reviews and remits building and capital improvement fees to the DOE.
5% Backup to Asset Accounting Coordinator on the monthly 442 request and other ad hoc reports as needed. Serve as backup for the weekly check run.
5% Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements.
5% Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Master's or Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219.ÂÂ
