About The Position
 Experienced Certified Nurse Midwife needed for a locum tenens assignment in Florida. This 15-day opportunity, starting July 1st, involves providing 24-hour call coverage at a hospital for specific dates in July and August. The role focuses on obstetrics and women's health, including prenatal care, IUD insertion and removal, and colposcopy. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with a range of midwifery and women's health services. This position is for call coverage only, with no clinic duties included. An active Florida CNM license is required, and there is potential for extension.

Schedule: 24-hour call coverage on specified dates in July and August
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide 24-hour on-call obstetrical coverage
• Manage labor and delivery for low-risk pregnancies
• Perform prenatal care and postpartum follow-ups as needed
• Conduct IUD insertions and removals
• Perform colposcopies when required
• Handle common women's health issues during on-call hours
• Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals as needed
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Epic EMR
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures
• Provide patient education on reproductive health and prenatal care
Additional Information:
• Must be licensed as a Certified Nurse Midwife in Florida
• Experience with high-volume obstetrical care preferred
• Comfort with managing various women's health issues required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR system a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently during on-call hours
• Flexibility to adapt to varying patient needs
• Potential for assignment extension
