Job Duties:

As a Clinical Nurse Supervisor, responsibilities include monitoring and reporting changes in patient symptoms or behavior, ensuring timely and accurate communication with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care. You will also educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention, providing them with the knowledge to improve their well-being.

The role requires facilitating referrals to other healthcare professionals or medical facilities as needed, as well as maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient medical records. Hands-on clinical duties such as triage, phlebotomy, administering injections, and managing referrals are key aspects of the position.

Additionally, you will be responsible for handling disciplinary actions, partnering with the HR team to address any personnel issues. The position requires active involvement on the floor, working closely with the site leadership team. Accurate reporting and adherence to quality measures will be essential to maintaining high standards of patient care.

Requirements:

  • Proof of valid RN license in good standing from the state of New York
  • Must be authorized to work in the US
  • Strong skill set in Phlebotomy
  • Experienced in working with medical software and equipment

Preferred:

  • Nurse management experience preferred
  • Experience in outpatient setting preferred
