Job DetailsJob Location: Jamestown, NC 27282Position Type: Full TimeJob Purpose Maintains the interior of buildings and facilities through comprehensive housekeeping procedures and services to ensure a clean, safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors. Facility Services Technicians support departmental objectives by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism throughout all assigned areas. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Maintain building interiors by dusting furniture, mirrors, and fixtures; cleaning windows, counters, walls, and woodwork; sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming floors, furniture, and carpets; and cleaning and restocking restrooms. Maintain building accessibility, appearance, and safety by removing debris, paper, and trash from interior spaces and entryways. Remove waste by emptying trash receptacles, transporting materials to designated disposal areas, and properly recycling materials in accordance with company procedures. Maintain cleaning equipment in proper working condition by following manufacturer operating instructions and care guidelines; report malfunctions promptly. Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safe chemical handling in accordance with Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and reporting hazards or incidents immediately. Maintain a safe working environment by complying with company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations. Demonstrate effective time management by prioritizing tasks, meeting service schedules, and completing assignments within established timeframes with minimal supervision. Utilize approved mobile applications or company systems to clock in/out, review schedules, submit PTO requests, acknowledge communications, and receive assignments in a timely manner. Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality for all scheduled shifts; work additional hours or adjusted schedules when operationally necessary. Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with employees, customers, and visitors in occupied facilities. Identify opportunities for process improvement and communicate suggestions to supervisors. Perform various related duties as assigned to support departmental operations. Contribute to team success by assisting coworkers and completing additional tasks as needed. This is an onsite position. Job duties are not limited to those listed above and may be modified, expanded, or reassigned at any time.   Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, stand and walk for extended periods. As well as bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach. Employees may also lift and carry up to 50 pounds. QualificationsRequired Education and Experience Three (3) years of commercial cleaning experience, OR High school diploma/GED with at least one (1) year of relevant experience. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Effective communication skills. Sound problem-solving abilities.
