Summary: 
The Paint Sprayer plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by ensuring consistent, high-quality finishes across a variety of products through precise and controlled application of paint and coatings. This position is essential to meeting stringent aesthetic, functional, and regulatory standards by operating advanced spray systems with accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities include surface preparation, equipment calibration, environmental monitoring, and comprehensive quality inspections to prevent defects and uphold production integrity. By strictly following safety protocols, contributing to process improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, the Paint Sprayer supports operational excellence, product reliability, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: 
- Operate and maintain industrial paint spray equipment, including manual, semi-automated, and fully automated systems 
- Prepare surfaces for coating through cleaning, sanding, priming, and pre-treatment processes 
- Calibrate and adjust spray guns, pressure settings, and flow rates to achieve uniform coating thickness and finish quality 
- Monitor and control environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity to optimize paint application 
- Conduct visual and tactile inspections to detect and report defects including runs, sags, orange peel, and missed areas 
- Adhere to safety procedures and handle hazardous materials (paints, solvents, coatings) in compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations 
- Record production data including batch numbers, material usage, and quality deviations 
- Collaborate with quality assurance and maintenance teams to resolve coating issues and improve process performance 
- Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and preventive upkeep of spray equipment 
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to operational efficiency 

Requirements: 
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in industrial coating or related field is preferred 
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in paint spraying within a manufacturing setting 
- Proven ability to operate manual, semi-automated, and automated spray systems with precision 
- Solid understanding of paint chemistry, coating types (e.g., powder, liquid, epoxy), and proper application techniques 
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and work orders 
- Strong eye-hand coordination and exceptional attention to detail 
- Knowledge of safety standards, proper PPE usage, and safe handling of hazardous materials 
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and defect identification methods 
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks consistently 
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment with variable shift schedules
