Maintenance Technician (Electrical & Mechanical Equipment Focus)

Blessings of Hope is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to help maintain and repair equipment used in our warehouse and food distribution operations. This role plays an important part in helping us serve local communities and ministries by keeping equipment running safely and efficiently.

We are looking for someone dependable, mechanically inclined, and comfortable troubleshooting a variety of equipment in an active warehouse environment. 

Responsibilities 

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment issues
• Perform preventative maintenance on warehouse and food distribution equipment
• Repair or replace components such as motors, belts, batteries, switches, and wiring
• Assist with maintaining forklifts, pallet jacks, balers, conveyors, and related equipment
• Help install and set up new equipment as needed
• Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential issues before breakdowns occur
• Perform general facility maintenance and minor repairs as needed
• Maintain maintenance records and follow safety procedures
• Work with team members to support daily operations

Requirements 

• Experience with electrical and/or mechanical maintenance
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and identify problems
• Familiarity with motors, wiring, controls, or mechanical systems is preferred
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Forklift experience or certification is helpful (or willingness to obtain certification)
• Able to work independently and stay organized
• Comfortable working in an active warehouse environment
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various physical positions
• Valid driver’s license required for light travel between locations
• Able to complete a background check

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Occasional scheduled Saturdays as needed
