Essential ResponsibilitiesÂ
Will ensure projects meet approved plans, specifications, and building codesÂ
 Leads the development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs, and oversees incident investigationsÂ
Reviews and updates construction schedules, addresses delays, and contributes to project schedulesÂ
 Estimates activity durations and materials for complex projectsÂ
Working knowledge of reporting and tracking of financial aspects of the projectÂ
Participates in subcontractor negotiationsÂ
Will set priorities and allocate resources as needed for the entire field teamÂ
Provides leadership and mentorship to project staff and SuperintendentsÂ
QualificationsÂ
8 plus years of experience in as a Telecommunications construction SuperintendentÂ
Post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline is an assetÂ
Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and current construction practicesÂ
Effective Communication and leadership skillsÂ
Ability to directly supervise craft employees as well as sub-contractorsÂ
Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to anticipate and address issuesÂ
Strong organizational and planning skillsÂ
Working ConditionsÂ
This is a site-based positionÂ
This position may require up to 25% travel throughout the state of WI between project sitesÂ
