The Customer Service Representative acts as the point of contact between the customer and the company. Displays a professional image of the company, provides a comprehensive service in a high performance, customer focused environment with respect to company products, procedures and technology.  This role will report to the Customer Relations Manager. 

 

Description and Responsibilities

  • Provide superb customer service to all customers via in person, telephone, web, and email
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer through interactive communication
  • Manage packaging inventory by working with the warehouse and supply chain to make sure our orders are going out at the highest rate
  • Track and document R&D version changes both with production paperwork and Mysis
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, customers, processes, and suppliers
  • Provide daily updates and/or reports on customers’ requests and issues 
  • Precisely enter purchase orders, production dates, ingredient delays, etc. in the production SharePoint database
  • Work with cross functional teams as needed to ensure release of product is on time
  • Ability to travel to the human food facility when needed
  • Contributes to business results and overall experience 
  • Organizes work information to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • All other duties as assigned.


Qualifications   

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other Microsoft applications.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment

 

Physical Demands of the Position: While performing the duties of this position, the employee must be able to see, speak, hear, read, type, walk, and reach with hands and arms for long periods. The employee must be able to pull, push, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, balance, and lift in excess of 50 lbs. There is extensive walking required.
