Seneca Foods in Janesville, WI is currently seeking a Maintenace Mechanic B - Case & Label to join our team. Help us make our Farm Fresh Goodness Great!

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with adjustment or repair of equipment as needed for efficient operation.
  • Assit with preventative maintenance and PM surveys.
  • Assist with line changeovers and shift start-ups in a timely manner.
  • Assist with fabrication of replacement parts if needed.
  • Assist with supervision and training of machine operators.

 

Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of all labeling/packing equipment in the Case & Label department.
  • Basic skills including use of hand tools, power tools, welder, cutting torch, pneumatics, & hydraulics.
  • Basic knowledge of lathe, shop fabricating equipment, and electricity.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills including the ability to diagnose breakdowns and repair on a timely basis.
  • Have operators certification for lift trucks and man lifts.
