Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Provides general medical care and treatment to patients in our clinic, health center, or public health agency, under direction of Physician, by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Opportunity:

• Collaborate with experienced physicians and two other advance practice providers at our Gastroenterology Clinic.
• Work includes both outpatient and inpatient
• Collaborate in the clinic setting managing patient care
• Inpatient consults, rounding on patients in the hospital during daytime clinic hours
• M-F work week, no call – great for work/life balance!

Qualifications:

• Ability to work well independently and under pressure.
• Strong communication/interpretive and analytical skills.
• A high level of independent judgment and ability to handle empowerment for independent action.
• Ability to pass the Wisconsin Caregiver Background Check and/or Illinois Health Care Worker's Background Check.

Experience/Licensure:

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program/Physician Assistant Program
• Obtain CME experience as required for re-certification
• Hold valid state license and CME credits for license renewal
• Current DEA number
• Other certifications as required
