Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist Implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving residents’ functional independence Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, strength, coordination, and cognitive skills Monitor resident performance and report progress to the supervising OT Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support optimal resident outcomes Educate residents and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment use Foster a positive and supportive therapy environment Qualifications & Attributes Licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of Wisconsin Experience in skilled nursing, assisted living, or senior rehabilitation preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, patient-focused approach Excellent organizational and time-management abilities Commitment to clinical excellence and professional development If you’re ready to make a meaningful impact in a supportive senior community, we would love to hear from you.
