OVERVIEW

Developed and executed social media and email campaigns, creating engaging, platform-specific content to strengthen brand presence and audience engagement. Analyzed performance metrics, industry trends, and competitor insights to identify growth opportunities and optimize digital marketing strategies.

SCHEDULE: Full Time, 40 hours per week

SHIFT: Day Shift

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   

  • Work with marketing specialists to strategize, plan and implement email and social mediacampaigns.  

  • Curate and publish high-quality, engaging content that is customized for each social media platform. This will diversify our content to keep followers engaged on each platform. 

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that includes content calendars, posting schedules, and campaign plans.  

  • Monitor industry trends and competitors to identify opportunities for our non-paid social presence. 

  • Work with marketing specialists to design, build, and maintain our social media presence. 

  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to develop and execute organic social media campaigns that run alongside paid campaigns to maximize the impact of digital spends. 

  • Identify trends and insights,and recommend ways to optimize spend and performance based on the insights. 

  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to make data-driven recommendations for improvement. 

  • Brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies through digital marketing. 

  • Engage in community conversations as the Mercyhealth brand, both on our social media pages and community pages.  

  • Monitor online chatter about Mercyhealth and its initiatives and perception to be part of the conversation in real time.  

  • Monitor competition and provide suggestions for improvement. 

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE   

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communication (or related field). 

Experience in social media and health care preferred  

 

CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE                     

Certification in Google Analytics (or must be obtained within 12 months of hire) 

FEMA Certification 

FEMA ICS-100 For Health Care/Hospitals Certification (or must be obtained within 12 months of hire) 

FEMA ICS-700 National Incident Management System Certification (or must be obtained within 12 months of hire)

Good interpretive/analytical skills 

Google Ads and Analytics 

Facebook Ads  

Experience with YouTube Ads 

Excellent editing/writing skills
