Compensation
- Base pay between $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Job Duties
The Store Communications Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the end‑to‑end management of all Messages, Documentation, and Tasks distributed from Blain Supply functions to stores through the enterprise Communications platform. Serving as the primary Gatekeeper for store-facing communication, this role ensures every message meets established standards for clarity, structure, tone, accuracy, and operational readiness in alignment with our strategic vision. The role partners with the Workforce management team and operations leadership on capacity planning, workload balancing and works cross-functionally to enhance efficiency and strengthen alignment between Support Center and stores elevating overall effectiveness across the organization.Own the retail communication and task management platform, driving effective task assignment, messaging, reporting, and continuous optimization of the tool.
- Lead the daily operations of the Communications process, ensuring all messages and tasks are delivered with the appropriate cadence and adhere to defined structure, content, and quality standards.
- Manage all configuration and administrative aspects of the platform including oversight of the dashboard/ home page, Library, Groups, and Calendar in addition to the creation of Surveys, Assessments, and Forms for Support Center or field leadership use.
- Conduct capacity planning by analyzing workload generating task requests: analyze requests to assess impact on store labor. Ensure a balanced workflow between standard operational expectations and new/urgent task requests.
- Facilitate the resolution of work demand related issues by partnering with key stakeholders and escalating and/or coordinating with the labor team on any needed adjustments to labor planning.
- Own reporting, analytics, and insights, including readership, execution metrics, and annual benchmarks, translating data into clear actions and recommendations to operations leadership.
- Partner with the Blain’s Communications Manger to ensure that all communications support the Blains strategic vision and drive engagement and meaningful messaging aligned with Blain's culture and AVP.
- Provide training and enablement for all Support Center users who create or publish content to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to communication standards.
- Train and support store management teams and associates on proper use of the Communications application, including monitoring in-store Group Channels to ensure compliance, engagement, and content alignment.
- Demonstrate awareness and compliance with Loss Prevention, Safety, and confidentiality policies and/or procedures.
- Attend trainings and special events as appropriate
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- This role requires: up to 10% of travel.
Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years prior retail experience preferred
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Proficiency in Microsoft office and Canva
- Understanding of retail operations and communication processes within a store environment.
- Familiarity with content creation, email communication platforms, and communication strategies.
- Awareness of branding guidelines and customer experience principles.
- Understanding of industry trends in retail communication and technology.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey information clearly and professionally.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Editing and proofreading skills to ensure accuracy and consistency in messaging.
- Analytical skills to assess the effectiveness of communication campaigns and recommend improvements.
