Responsibilities

As an Inpatient Therapist, you will play a key role in the treatment and recovery process for patients experiencing mental health challenges. Duties include:

• Provide individual counseling and psychotherapy services 
• Facilitate psychoeducational and process-oriented group therapy sessions 
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans 
• Coordinate comprehensive discharge planning 
• Connect patients and families with appropriate community resources and aftercare services 
• Participate in daily interdisciplinary treatment team meetings 
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, and other healthcare professionals 
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards

Requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum of Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) required 
• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field 
• Experience in inpatient psychiatry, behavioral health, crisis intervention, or hospital-based mental health services preferred 
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills 
• Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care
