We are seeking an individual who is passionate about joining a team in the manufacturing of high quality laminates and films used in a variety of applications including on cabinetry in kitchen and bath applications, countertops and paneling in recreational vehicles and in the enhancement of interior retail spaces.

As a Production Pipe Fitter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and equipment, primarily focusing on mechanical piping systems. This position provides maintenance support for all production and facility equipment in the plant including preventative maintenance and repairs while rotating swing shift with our Production Maintenance Teams.

Production Maintenance Team - Provide 24-hour maintenance coverage to all the operating equipment in the plant. The team rotates with production crews and works whenever the production lines are running.

Key Responsibilities:

Document the frequency of upkeep for preventative/predictive maintenance
Process work orders and requisitions for parts
Communicate the progress of projects and maintenance work at shift changes
Change the embossing and rubber rolls
Perform and document forklift, scissor lift and crane inspections
Repair, rebuild and replacement of components such as pumps and valves
During 3^rd shift on Sunday night, Start Up Crew turns on bulk system blowers, check water level in forklift batteries, raises temperature on calender heating, turns on chillers and checks tanks, increases mill roll heats, and checks boiler temperatures
Stay current on the job to maintain skills

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and efficiently under minimal supervision.
Demonstrated ability to function as part of a team in a high-performance work environment
Mechanical aptitude

Minimum Qualifications:

Background within the craft
Complete orientation, safety training and skill verification
Review the Operator guidelines, observe an experienced technician and perform the job with help to the Training Checklist

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED
Vocational training or apprenticeship in related field preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift 55 pounds as needed.
Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
Frequently positions self to use/maintain personal protective equipment.
Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
