About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to provide senior leadership for a large-scale Oracle Fusion ERP program supporting a major public-sector transformation initiative.

The Project Director will oversee program-level delivery, coordinate across multiple workstreams, and provide leadership to project teams, stakeholders, and implementation partners. The ideal candidate has deep experience leading complex ERP or enterprise system replacement programs and can successfully manage scope, schedule, risks, stakeholders, and delivery across a large transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and direction for the ERP implementation program.

  • Lead and coordinate multiple project workstreams and project managers.

  • Establish and maintain program governance, milestones, priorities, and delivery standards.

  • Manage program-level risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations.

  • Partner with executive stakeholders and implementation teams to maintain alignment.

  • Monitor project performance, schedules, budgets, deliverables, and resource requirements.

  • Drive timely decision-making and resolution of complex project issues.

  • Ensure effective communication across business, technical, and project teams.

  • Support successful implementation of Oracle Fusion ERP solutions.

  • Ensure the program remains aligned with organizational objectives and contractual commitments.

Required Qualifications

  • 12+ years of project management experience supporting large system replacements or ERP implementations.

  • At least 3 years serving as a project/program lead on projects of comparable size and complexity.

  • Current PMP, PgMP, or PRINCE2 certification required.

  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud strongly preferred and highly valued.

  • Experience with Financials and/or HR/Payroll ERP implementations.

  • Demonstrated experience leading large, complex, cross-functional programs.

  • Strong executive stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Proven ability to manage risks, dependencies, schedules, and competing priorities.

Important Project Requirements

  • Must be available onsite in Jefferson City, Missouri, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM Central.

  • Remote work is subject to state approval and may be revoked.

  • Must successfully pass a Missouri State Highway Patrol fingerprint background check.

  • This is a 100% dedicated assignment with no split allocation to another client.
