Job DetailsJob Location: MO, Jefferson City - Missouri Regional Office - JEFFERSON CITY, MO 65109Position Type: Part-TimeEducation Level: Doctoral DegreeJob Shift: DayJob Category: Behavioral Health Professional & SupportCenturion Health is proud to be the provider of healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections.   We are currently seeking a part-time (20 hours per week) Statewide SVP Psychologist to join our team.  This opportunity is based out of our Missouri Regional Office in Jefferson City, MO and is 100% remote.    Position Overview Provides clinical oversight for the provision of comprehensive sex offense services programming, including assessment and treatment, for site-level staff, and psychologists who perform sexually violent predator assessments, under the Missouri Department of Corrections (MODOC) contract. Essential Duties / Responsibilities Develop, implement, coordinate, promote, and evaluate clinical services of the statewide sexual offense assessment and treatment program, known as Missouri Sex Offender Program (MOSOP), the Sex Offender Assessment Unit (SOAU), and all referrals for Sexually Violent Predator (SVP) evaluations for MODOC. Ensure that sexual offense services are delivered in compliance with ATSA best practice standards, state statute, contract requirements, MODOC policies and procedures, and approval of the state agency, with a goal of reducing sexually deviant attitudes and behaviors and providing appropriate coping skills. Supervise and ensure compliance with the Sexually Violent Predator (SVP) evaluation process in accordance with contract requirements and state statutes (RSMo 632.489; 632.480). Provide clinical and administrative supervision of SVP Psychologists. Ensure that MOSOP clinical staff are providing services within their scope of practice and under necessary supervision, when applicable.  Assist in completing duties of staff psychologists/direct clinical services when required. Identify and develop clinical resources for use by staff in service delivery and enhancement of clinical skills of staff. Develop and implement MOSOP program-specific outcome measures per contract requirements and provide an annual report to the client. Collaborate closely with other discipline directors (i.e., medical, mental health, psychiatry, and substance use) to ensure implementation of a collaborative care model for individuals with comorbid conditions. Collaborate closely with Department leadership in implementing, monitoring and improving sex offense clinical services. Collaborate with facility administration, healthcare administrators, and unit management staff in service delivery. Participate in statewide administrative meetings and other leadership and special project committees as required. Support statewide initiatives, NCCHC/ACA accreditation as applicable. Monitor, assess, and coach staff on clinically related procedures. Recommend, oversee, or conduct training or education on sexual offense and sexual violence prevention topics as needed for the Company and facility staff. Interpret and consult on all Administrative Regulations or Standard Operating Procedures related to sexual offense assessment and treatment services. Formulate and/or communicate and implement statewide and facility goals, policies, and procedures related to the provision of sexual offense treatment and assessment services. Ensure integrity and completeness of sex offense services data for required reports. Identify and maintain professional boundaries to preserve the integrity of the therapeutic process and relationship. Provide support and guidance to Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) program, participate in CQI activities, and collaborate with audits. Ensure compliance with all facility and Company policies, Federal and State laws and regulations, MODOC policies, and guidelines including HIPAA. Coordinate care closely with security staff while maintaining a positive, collaborative relationship. Maintain an ethical commitment to ensure confidentiality within the limits of a correctional environment. Understand and comply with safety and security rules and regulations of the correctional system and institution. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) from accredited institution Must reside in the state of Missouri Active professional license to practice as a psychologist in Missouri required Three to five years of experience with assessment and treatment of sexual offending behaviors with forensically adjudicated individuals required.
