Job Description

As a Security Officer in Jefferson, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and document security-related activities while embodying Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers at a food and beverage manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Support site procedures related to truck traffic, deliveries, and restricted areas while maintaining professional communication with personnel and guests.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
