Job Summary:

The Production Operator is responsible for safely operating and maintaining production machinery to meet quality, efficiency, and safety goals. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong commitment to maintaining ATTC’s high manufacturing standards.

This position is a second shift position starting at 5:00 PM. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain production machinery safely and efficiently
  • Follow standardized work instructions, procedures, and safety regulations
  • Inspect equipment and perform routine TQM (Total Quality Maintenance) checks
  • Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure quality standards
  • Identify and report mechanical, safety, or production issues promptly
  • Track hourly production results and communicate equipment status to supervisors

Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to follow standardized procedures and safety guidelines
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Clear communication and teamwork skills
  • High school diploma or GED required

Preferred:

  • Prior manufacturing or production experience preferred, but not required
  • Experience operating CNC or other industrial machinery a plus
  • On-the-job training provided for motivated candidates

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and chest-high when required.
  • Able to walk, stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
