Senior Molding Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Solves complex problems or problems where precedent does not exist and takes a new perspective on existing solutions

• Serves as a specialist or expert within own job discipline

Qualifications:

• Degree in Polymer, Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering (or equivalent), or significant hands-on molding experience.

• Strong knowledge of injection molding, mold tooling, materials and associated equipment.

• 7 + years experience with cleanroom manufacturing, validations and process controls.

• Medical device experience in catheters preferred.

• Ability to analyze molding parameters, optimize processes and stabilize drift using a scientific approach.

• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Toolmakers, Maintenance, Production, Quality and R&D/NPI.

• Strong problem-solving skills with a structured, methodical mindset and attention to detail.

• Experience mentoring or supporting Technicians/Operators, promoting knowledge sharing and good practice.

• Willingness to travel to suppliers, toolmakers and customers when required, with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
