Pay: $15.00–$16.00/hour, based on experience

We are a busy, AAHA-accredited small animal hospital with 3 veterinarians seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant who loves both people and pets.

Who We’re Looking For

Veterinary Assistant with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Minimum 1 year of veterinary experience preferred
Comfortable answering phones and interacting with clients
Reliable, detail-oriented, and confident in a fast-paced setting
Able to work independently while thriving as part of a team
Anesthesia and surgery monitoring experience is a plus
Prior experience in a high-volume practice preferred
Familiarity with Impromed is a plus

Responsibilities

Assist with patient care and support veterinarians during exams
Monitor anesthesia and surgical patients
Answer phones and assist clients with professionalism and compassion
Check patients in and out
Communicate treatment plans and care instructions clearly to clients
Support overall hospital workflow and daily team needs
