Pay: $22-$36/hr (depending on experience) + 5K Sign on Bonus! 
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Surgical Technologist to join our Operating Room team. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, this role supports surgical and invasive procedures by preparing instruments, maintaining a sterile field, and assisting the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care.

Reports To: Clinical Leader, RN Manager, or Director of Surgical Services

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in surgical procedures by setting up and maintaining sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment.
  • Serve as the scrub person for operative cases, passing instruments and anticipating surgical team needs.
  • Ensure sterile field integrity and address contamination issues as needed.
  • Perform counts with the circulating RN to ensure patient safety.
  • Help clean and turn over ORs between procedures.
  • Transport used instruments for decontamination and processing.
  • Follow infection control and universal precaution protocols.
  • Participate in ongoing training and skill development related to perioperative practices.
Qualifications:
Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program OR 5 years of surgical tech experience required.
Experience:
  • 1 year of perioperative experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
  • No certification required.
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association) required within first week of employment and must be maintained.
Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong understanding of sterile technique and OR workflows.
  • Positive interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Initiative in maintaining job-related expertise.
