Okie Staffing has a position open for a Paint Prep Technician for a reputable aviation manufacturing company. This is a long-term temporary position with the potential to convert to full-time for the right candidate.

This role focuses on preparing aircraft components for the paint process. If you have strong attention to detail and a solid work history, this is a great entry point into the aerospace industry.

Location: Jenks, OK

Schedule: Monday – Friday

7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay: $16.00 – $18.00/hour (DOE)

Overtime: As required

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Tape and mask parts prior to painting
  • Prepare surfaces for paint (cleaning, sanding, prepping)
  • Handle small aircraft components with care and precision
  • Follow safety procedures including proper use of PPE (respirator when required)
  • Support production team to ensure parts are ready for finishing
What We’re Looking For
  • High School Diploma or GED (required for future conversion)
  • Good, stable work history (required)
  • Ability to work with hands and follow detailed instructions
  • Comfortable working in a production/manufacturing environment
  • Light experience with hand tools preferred (not required)
  • Previous production or prep experience is a plus, but not required
  • Must be able to pass a DOT Drug Screen (UA)
  • Ability to wear a respirator when needed
  • Must be dependable and safety-focused
  • Entry into the aviation/aerospace industry
  • Temp-to-hire potential based on performance
  • Consistent daytime schedule
