What You’ll Do

As a School Supervisor, you will:


  • Supervises all staff by reviewing daily logs, providing written evaluations to staff critiquing their performance, and observing the quality of their student interactions. 
  • Completes weekly educational progress notes on staff and quarterly educational review on students and assists students in meeting treatment goals. 
  • Assures and monitors student location and movement and staff placement. 
  • Role models and teaches effective supervision and management of clients, interacts meaningfully with clients, and observes client behavior and intervenes appropriately. 
  • Maintains confidentiality of information as it relates to client information. 
  • Implements and mentors employees regarding the company’s policies on professional expectations, code of conduct and other practices and procedures, 
  • Serves as a role model for clients and employees and supports the company’s mission, goals and objectives. 
  • Schedule employee training to ensure that all mandatory training requirements are met.
  • Maintains Safety & Security of Clients & Facility. 
  • Teaches and demonstrates leadership during emergency procedures. 
  • Addresses client grievances as appropriate. 
  • Supports the Abraxas philosophy and mission and promotes the Seven Key Principles of care.
  • Demonstrates appropriate use of Safe Crisis Management techniques and skills.

Qualifications

Required:

The following educational requirements are acceptable for this classification including:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Education or a related field. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years’ experience delivering training, developing content, and knowledge of adult learning principles.

Other Qualifications: 

  • At least twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Criminal clearances (Act 33 and 34, specific State & child clearances and, if necessary, FBI.
  • Non-communicable diseases physical exam.
  • Valid driver’s license from employee’s state of residence.
  • Valid registered vehicle insurance.
  • Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
