What You’ll Do

As a School Supervisor, you will:

Supervises all staff by reviewing daily logs, providing written evaluations to staff critiquing their performance, and observing the quality of their student interactions.
Completes weekly educational progress notes on staff and quarterly educational review on students and assists students in meeting treatment goals.
Assures and monitors student location and movement and staff placement.
Role models and teaches effective supervision and management of clients, interacts meaningfully with clients, and observes client behavior and intervenes appropriately.
Maintains confidentiality of information as it relates to client information.
Implements and mentors employees regarding the company’s policies on professional expectations, code of conduct and other practices and procedures,
Serves as a role model for clients and employees and supports the company’s mission, goals and objectives.
Schedule employee training to ensure that all mandatory training requirements are met.
Maintains Safety & Security of Clients & Facility.
Teaches and demonstrates leadership during emergency procedures.
Addresses client grievances as appropriate.
Supports the Abraxas philosophy and mission and promotes the Seven Key Principles of care.
Demonstrates appropriate use of Safe Crisis Management techniques and skills.

Qualifications

Required:

The following educational requirements are acceptable for this classification including:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Education or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

3 years’ experience delivering training, developing content, and knowledge of adult learning principles.

Other Qualifications:

At least twenty-one (21) years of age.
Criminal clearances (Act 33 and 34, specific State & child clearances and, if necessary, FBI.
Non-communicable diseases physical exam.
Valid driver’s license from employee’s state of residence.
Valid registered vehicle insurance.
Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
