Pharmacy Technician - Martella’s Pharmacies - Jennerstown, Pennsylvania
Full-Time | Monday–Friday + Rotating Every Third Saturday

Position Overview:

Martella’s Pharmacies is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our closed-door pharmacy team in Jennerstown, PA. This is a full-time position in a non-retail environment focused on accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional patient care support. Unlike traditional retail settings, our closed-door pharmacy allows our team to focus on prescription processing and service excellence without front-store responsibilities.

Schedule: Full-time

Monday through Friday

Rotating every third Saturday

Daylight hours (specific schedule to be discussed during interview)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and fill prescription orders
• Enter prescription data into pharmacy system
• Assist with medication preparation and packaging
• Communicate professionally with healthcare providers and facility staff
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Assist with inventory management and medication stock control
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Support the pharmacist in daily operational workflow

Qualifications:

• Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred
• PTCB certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of pharmacy software systems a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required
