Description

Assisting the front desk receptionists
Transporting surgery/drop off appointment pets, getting them settled in kennels and adding them to the whiteboard
Retrieving pets when their owners are here to pick them up
Rooming clients for their appointments, entering information into the chart and computer
Pulling charts for upcoming appointments and filing charts
Cleaning/re-stocking the front desk area and treatment rooms;

Requirements

This is a great entry level position for someone who is interested in learning about veterinary medicine
Detailed-orientated with strong communication skills
Physical ability to sit, stand, kneel, help restraining animals, walk a patient on a leash and lift animal in/out of a kennel
Knowledgable computer skills
Ability to manage multiple duties in a fast pace environment
Positive can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
Must be able to work afternoons and saturdays
