Saint Peter’s offers more than 50 undergraduate majors as well as master’s level and doctorate programs Instructor of Biology The Biology Department at Saint Peter’s University invites applications for a full- time non-tenure track position at the rank Instructor beginning in fall of 2026. The Department of Biology consists of eight full-time faculty members with expertise in genetics, molecular biology, anatomy and physiology, microbiology, developmental biology, and ecology. We emphasize small classes and both the University mission and the mission of the Department drive us in all our activities. We are men and women for others and strive to instill this dedication to others in our students. The successful applicant will be expected to teach 15 contact hours each semester. This usually involves five lectures and/or laboratory sections in the anatomy and physiology sequence for both nursing and health science majors.  The successful candidate would share a deep commitment to effective teaching, mentoring students, and displaying a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusiveness. A masters degree in Biology with previous teaching experience is required with a PhD preferred. Candidates with expertise in anatomy and physiology are encouraged to apply.
