Job Summary

We are seeking reliable and safety-conscious Non-CDL Box Truck Drivers to join our team in Jersey City, NJ. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience driving a 22-foot box truck, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to safely transport goods while ensuring timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 22-foot Non-CDL box truck to transport goods to customer locations.
• Load, unload, and secure cargo to prevent damage during transit.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
• Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules while ensuring on-time deliveries.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and required documentation.
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
• Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and traffic laws.
• Assist with moving, lifting, and carrying items when required.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience driving a 22-foot box truck.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs on a regular basis.
• Strong knowledge of local roads and navigation in the New Jersey/New York area is preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and overtime when needed.
• Must pass a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record (MVR) check.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with moving, logistics, furniture delivery, or warehouse operations.
• Experience using GPS and electronic delivery applications.
