Application Production Support Analyst

Position Summary:

Support the execution of application production support activities with a focus on the functional and technical features of assigned BBH applications. Work as part of a team to help maintain application performance, stability, and availability. Assist in incident resolution, monitoring, and routine support tasks under the guidance of senior team members.

Contribute to troubleshooting efforts, documentation updates, and basic root cause analysis. Learn and develop technical and business knowledge of supported applications. Collaborate with team members and technical specialists to resolve production issues and meet business needs.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Incident Management

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assist in the triage and resolution of application incidents under supervision.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Support incident management processes, including updating tickets and communicating status as needed.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Escalate issues to senior team members when appropriate.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Respond to basic business inquiries related to supported applications, with guidance as needed.

Systems Health / Performance Monitoring

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Perform routine monitoring of application systems using established procedures.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Identify and report abnormalities or issues to senior team members.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Follow daily operational checklists and support tasks to ensure system stability.

Problem Management

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Support root cause analysis efforts by gathering information and documenting findings.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure incidents and recurring issues are properly logged and tracked in central repository (e.g., ServiceNow).

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assist in maintaining documentation for known issues and solutions.

Event/Crisis Support

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Participate in event or incident calls as a supporting team member.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assist with troubleshooting activities during outages or service disruptions.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provide updates to team members on assigned tasks and progress.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 2-5 years of relevant experience (internships or entry-level IT/support experience acceptable)

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Foundational technical understanding of application support concepts (incident and problem management, monitoring, escalation, etc.)

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Good communication and teamwork skills

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to follow documented procedures and escalate appropriately

Preferred (not required):

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Exposure to financial services or enterprise applications

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Familiarity with IT Service Management platforms such as ServiceNow

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Familiarity with observation and monitoring tools like Splunk

Salary Range

Jersey City: $80,000 - $95,000 salary + annual performance bonus

The anticipated base salary range(s) shown above are only for the indicated location(s) and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
