Fitness Coordinator II

Description

• Assists director with the overall management of the Wellness Center Facility. 
• Directs individual and/or group wellness programs and activities, in coordination with Physical Therapy services. 
• Designs and markets wellness programs in the community, for recruitment and retention of members.
• Other roles and responsibilities.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Marketing, Health/Business Management and/or minimum of two years related management experience. 
• National certifications, (i.e. NSCA, ACSM, ACE) and health education preferred.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, decision-making, and leadership skill required.

Physical Requirements:

• Work is of medium to heavy demand. 
• Routine lifting requirements up to 25 pounds; occasional lifting requirements up to 100 pounds. 
• Lifting, pushing, pulling, walking, standing, sitting, bending and reaching required. 
• Exposure to warm and humid temperatures.
