Kitting Associate – Badge Assembly
Job Summary
We are hiring a Kitting Associate to support a warehouse and production team in Jessup, MD. This position is responsible for creating, assembling, organizing, and activating employee badges while ensuring each kit is complete and accurate.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, comfortable using a computer, and enjoys hands-on work. The position involves a combination of light assembly, data entry/computer tasks, quality checks, and general warehouse support.

Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $17.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Create and prepare employee identification badges according to established procedures.
- Activate badges and ensure they are properly configured and ready for use.
- Assemble badge kits and organize all required materials.
- Verify names, identification information, and other details for accuracy.
- Enter and update information using computer systems.
- Follow step-by-step instructions and established procedures.
- Inspect completed badges and kits for accuracy and quality.
- Identify and correct errors or missing information before completing orders.
- Organize completed kits and prepare them for distribution.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Handle materials and supplies associated with the kitting process.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Assist with other light warehouse and production duties as needed.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and security procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous kitting, assembly, warehouse, production, data entry, or computer-based work is a plus.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software and systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.
- Dependable and reliable with good attendance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and work for extended periods.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and finger movements.
- Frequent reaching, handling, sorting, and assembling materials.
