Service Technician II

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Provide superior field support on Renewal by Andersen products by performing services AND doing technical measures prior to installation (whichever is needed)

Primary Responsibilities:

-Service and repair previously installed Renewal by Andersen products.

-Analyze and resolve complex/escalated customers situations, determines corrective action to be taken and verify the action has fixed the situation in a

cost efficient and effective manner.

-Keep team member informed as needed of customer interactions and actions taken to resolve service issues.

- Follows established Renewal processes, making recommendations for process improvement; keeps current on RbA product and installation process changes; recommends, and may write, technical tips for Renewal installation or service; helps maintain an updated service procedure manual

-Keep service area neat and organized, inventory service stock area of warehouse; request material replenishment as needed; provide detailed

information to Service CSRs.

- Accurately measure dimensions and determine installation processes for windows and doors. Provide accurate measurements and documentation of job-related circumstances in a timely fashion

- Provide installation solutions that match customer expectations of cost

effective, installed window and door replacements; adapts product specifications to the installation requirements, utilizing a thorough knowledge of all Renewal products

- Confirms details within the quoted sales contract to assure customer expectations are in alignment with product and installation process

-Advanced knowledge of RbA window and door installation techniques and ability to correct installation errors.

- Completes and submits required paperwork that is neat, accurate, thorough, and completed in a timely manner; portrays a professional image with clothing, vehicle, and personal actions within the home; provides a high level of customer satisfaction

QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: 

-High School degree and valid driver’s license with clean driving record

- Renewal installation experience

-Meets the skills and competency requirements needed for Service

Technician I

-Ability to service and repair previously installed windows & doors. Ability to

dismantle and reassemble windows, door components, window coverings, and

Hardware

-Demonstrated analytical problem solving and decision-making skills; follow

systematic approach in situational analysis and definition; arrive at

acceptable solutions

-Ability to train others on technical application and product requirements

COMPENSATION:  

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process.   

Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn between $27.76-$41.64 hourly.

PROFIT SHARING: In 2026 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
