As a tennis shop attendant your primary responsibility is to deliver friendly and welcoming service to members and guests. You will also manage check-ins for courts and assist members and guests with inquiries they might have.Â
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
Ensure that members and guests check in when using the tennis facility and address all members by nameÂ
Maintain a high level of professionalism which includes wearing proper attire and name tagÂ
Notify the tennis director or head pro of any member or guest complaints at the time they occurÂ
Answer telephone promptly and courteously and direct calls to the appropriate areaÂ
Understand and use the tennis court reservation system and the point-of-sale system.Â
Charge members and guests for purchases made in the tennis shopÂ
Perform close of business functions at the end of the dayÂ
Assist the tennis pros or director with any tasks that are requestedÂ
Ensure that the ball machine is properly stored at the end of each dayÂ
Ensure that the pro shop and tennis lounge areasareclean and organized, ie straighten and arrange displaced chairs/tables, dispose of any debris on tables or floor, turn on and off the TVs in pro shop and lounge.Â
Lock the tennis shop and tennis building after clocking out at the end of the dayÂ
QualificationsÂ
Must be able to interact positively and professionally with members and guestsÂ
Exhibit good verbal skills and proper grammarÂ
Work ScheduleÂ
Adhere to weekly schedule as outlined by tennis director, head pro or tennis shop supervisor
