The Boat House is looking for a dependable and customer-focused Marina Coordinator to join our team. This position plays an important role in supporting day-to-day marina and retail operations while helping us provide an efficient, safe, and exceptional experience for our customers.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable balancing customer service with administrative and operational responsibilities. You will work closely with the Marina Manager, seasonal employees, Boat Club, Service, and other departments to keep operations running smoothly.
What You'll Do

Provide friendly, professional, and responsive customer service throughout the marina and retail areas. -
Support the Marina Manager with daily marina and retail operations. -
Assist with onboarding and training seasonal cashiers and fuel attendants. -
Help create and maintain employee schedules to ensure appropriate staffing and excellent customer coverage. -
Monitor attendance and communicate staffing concerns to management. -
Perform and oversee accurate inventory counts for the convenience store, board shop, fuel, and other marina-related inventory. -
Train team members on proper inventory procedures and expectations. -
Assist with marina storage contracts, reservations, and related processes. -
Support Boat Club operations when needed and coordinate with other departments to address operational or service needs. -
Follow and help maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to promote safe, consistent, and efficient operations. -
Process customer payments accurately and demonstrate fiscal responsibility when handling company expenses and resources. -
Work closely with other departments to provide the highest level of service to both internal and external customers. -
Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve processes, increase revenue, and enhance the overall customer experience.

Strong organization and planning skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities. -
Scheduling experience and an understanding of staffing needs in a customer-focused environment. -
Excellent communication skills when working with customers, employees, managers, and other departments. -
Leadership skills and the ability to lead by example while creating a positive team environment. -
A team-first attitude and willingness to jump in where needed. -
Financial responsibility and comfort handling payments, expenses, and transaction processes. -
Previous marina, boating, retail, hospitality, administrative, or customer service experience is a plus.
