Maintenance Worker

Job Summary

Performs a variety of skilled maintenance tasks, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, and masonry, and completes related maintenance and repair work as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of methods, materials, and procedures used in general repair and maintenance work.
• Knowledge of tools, equipment, machinery, and their proper operation for a variety of maintenance tasks.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards, safety practices, and required precautions.
• Ability to operate, clean, maintain, and perform basic repairs on tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Ability to follow instructions, assess situations, and make sound decisions.
• Ability to use materials efficiently and exercise good judgment in their selection and application.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and other personnel.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work assignments effectively.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of the tenth grade.
• Experience in building and plant maintenance involving a variety of skilled work, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, and masonry

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of vocational education.
• Two years of experience in trade services.
